Flyteline Terminal 2009 Air Rally

 

 

PRIZE MONEY DISTRIBUTION:

1st Place 25% of the total

2nd Place 20% of the total

3rd Place 15% of the total

4th Place 10% of the total

Remaining money is divided equally among all the participants that completed each check point of the 2009 Rally and is verified by the Directors. (see rules for disqualification)

 

REGISTRATION:

1. NAME AND CALL SIGN

2. AIRCRAFT TYPE AND TAIL NUMBER

3. YOUR FLIGHTLINE GROUP NAME OR GROUP AFFILIATION

4. YOU MAY REGISTER ANY TIME WITHIN 1 WEEK OF THE START DATE, NO LATER. AND YOU MUST START AT THE START POINT OF THE RALLY.

Please make a post in the forum thread provided and a list will show all participants,. in said forum.

 

RALLY START DATE:

1. Start date: To be determined

2. Start Time: As desired by the pilot

3. Finish date: To be determined

 

DISQUALIFICATIONS:

1. Rules violations

2. By Committee and Flyteline Administration rulings

3. You may appeal if so desired.

4. Remember this, Be honest and have fun, the money is virtual.

 

RULES:

1. All Aircraft have to be owned by the pilot and registered with the Rally committee. And flown by the pilot, NO RENTALS BY OTHERS FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMPLETING YOUR CHECK POINTS WILL BE ALLOWED SO SET YOUR RENT TO 0 (ZERO) WHEN YOUR NOT PLANNING ON FLYING. Your flight logs for the aircraft will be verified daily.

2. Pilots must be in good standing with Flyteline Terminal and understand the Pilots Alliance Regulations.

3. Any aircraft type may be used, but you may not change your aircraft once you start the Rally. All Aircraft must be located at the starting airport prior to the start date.

4. You do not have to purchase fuel at all destinations, only as needed.

5. You may time compress if you choose to.

6. Multiplayer flights are by choice of the pilots seeking a wingman or woman.

7. You may fly in teams, but each pilot has to fly his or her own aircraft. Individual times are still required.

8. The aircraft flight logs for all registered aircraft will be checked daily by the rally committee. And flight times recorded.

9. If maintenance is needed on your aircraft, you must have it preformed. All aircraft with over 100 hrs will be deemed grounded until such time as the maintenance is preformed.

10. You must start cold and dark, (load the default Cessna 172, turn everything off battery avionics etc. and load the aircraft your flying). And at a gate or parking ramp. No active runway starts are allowed. Exceptions are as follows, you may start on the active runway:

11. If you miss a checkpoint, you are allowed to back track and complete the checkpoint, but you as well will add to your accumulated time, so plan well.

12. Navigation is up to you the pilot. Direct GPS, VOR’s, IFR or VFR that’s your choice.

East Coast is EDT ZULU-5 Midwest is CDT ZULU-6

14. Make a post after each flight of your Aircrafts location in the forum thread for the Rally.

15. Agree to be honest in your flying and have a great time. This is the most important rule.

16. You must Start cold and dark, your client must be started prior to starting your engine or engines.

17. You are required to taxi to the active for departure, and taxi to the gate or parking after arrival. Parking break set and shut down your power.

18. NO SLEWING WILL BE TOLERATED

19. MOST OF ALL HAVE A GREAT TIME FLYING, PLAN WELL FOR NAVIGATION AS IT WILL EFFECT YOUR ACCUMULATED TIME. TRY AND WIN THE BIG MONEY!!!

POSTING OF STANDINGS:

1. Standings will be posted daily in the forums with your aircrafts location, your time accumulation, is up to you the pilot to keep a record of it.

 

FUNDS:

1. All prize money is kept in the group account 2009 Air Rally

2. The prizes will be paid to the participants after the last day scheduled. And times verified by the accountant and committee.

3. All prizes awarded are final, there will be no appeal.
